Centeno Kennels provides on-site safety training for employees that may have to come in contact with dogs during their work day.
This course addresses such subjects as:
- how to approach a dog
- what to do when you encounter an aggressive dog
- understanding the fear, both in the employee and dog's perspective
- do's and don'ts when working in an area with dogs
- understanding the type of aggression you're up against
- difusing a dangerous situation
- how to meet a dog safely
- interpreting the dog's body language and predict its behavior
We end the day with:
- how to approach a dog

Discussing the classes passed experiences and as a group discuss were the employee could have made the situation less confrontational.
Question period to answer any questions the group may have.
2 follow-up email correspondences for each employee that takes the course.
Centeno Kennels can also provide learners with the means to apply their new skills on the job.
